Home Learning

At Knowle DGE Academy we understand the importance of Home Learning and of all students being encouraged and challenged to engage with learning outside of lessons. At Knowle DGE Academy we believe it encourages young people to realise that learning can take place outside the classroom as well as promoting independent learning. The amount and type of home learning we set is at a level which we believe to be reasonable and manageable for the young people. For example, primary and KS3 pupils may have reading and spelling practice whereas older pupils studying towards accredited courses may have to take home revision papers and practise coursework.

Key Stage 2 and 3 classes have book bags to support the transition of Home Learning between home and school.
